The story tells us about a man who loves cats and lives in a trailer. He adopts stray cats and eventually he has sixty or maybe seventy cats living with him in the trailer. One day the man leaves to take a job and is unable to return to feed the cats.
This is one of the saddest and most horrific stories in Endless Nights.
This cat is one of those cats.
Max did a wonderful job with this portrait. He modeled the cat after his brother’s cat, Mindy, who is well taken care of and loved…and is neither mistreated nor abandoned like the cats in this story. Once again I love the colors of this portrait. They are muted and beautiful and really highlight the colors of the cat.
