Tiffany Calhoun (illustrated by Anna Hybsier)

Tiffany is a dancer at Suffragette City.

One afternoon before work Ishtar came to Tiffany’s apartment (at the Town House Hotel). Ishtar told Tiffany that she was worried about her and brought her some food and made her breakfast.

Tiffany gets cleaned up and dressed. Tiffany, unaware that Ishtar is a goddess, asks how she picked her name. Ishtar explains that it’s an old name and asks how Tiffany chose her name. She explained that she got the name from a Tiffany Watch that he mom used to own. She also revealed to Ishtar that her real name was Alva Ellen Rasmussen.

Tiffany left home when she was 15 and immediately became a stripper. She reveals that all the men she’s had in her life haven’t been very good to her. She says that it’s always great for the first week and then during the second week he starts borrowing money and telling her that she’s stupid and eventually they will leave for another woman with larger breasts and more money.

When they arrive at work they go to the dressing room to change and begin their evening.

Later that night three visitors come to the club to speak to Ishtar. Afterwards Ishtar comes out on stage and dances like she’s never danced before. It frightens Tiffany and she runs, leaving the club. The club implodes and only Tiffany managed to escape.

Tiffany finds herself sitting out near the fence, completely naked and a stranger approaches her. The stranger, who Tiffany sees as a man, speaks to her briefly and them gives her his jacket before disappearing.

After the traumatic experience at Suffregette City Tiffany decides to change her life.

We next see Tiffany in the final chapter of Brief Lives. She is on a talk show and speaking about how she found her new life; how the Palace of Sin was destroyed and how an Angel (who was really Desire) gave her an Armani Jacket to cover her nakedness.

Tiffany appears throughout # 45 and then again in issue # 49, on page 22, in panel 2.

Serial Killer # 88 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

Rose and Gilbert find themselves staying in a hotel where a Cereal Convention is being held. Rose assumes that this convention is for breakfast cereal enthusiasts or companies that make cereal, but she is wrong. This convention is host to the worst serial killers in the country.

This convention is eerily similar to other conventions, both professional and fan conventions in the sense that they have panels and discussions regarding a variety of topics relating to death and killing.

This particular serial killer attended the panel where The Corinthian was giving his guest of honor speech.

During this speech Morpheus confronted The Corinthian and ultimately uncreated him. Afterwards Dream spoke to the crowd and said that they all had sustained fantasies in which they are the heroes, but from that day forward their dreams are over and they will now know, at all times, exactly what they are and how little that means.

This man was standing in the background as The King Of Dreams put forth his judgement on the group of serial killers.

He appears in Sandman # 14, on page 35 panel 7.

Lizzie comments to her husband that he was flirting with the young man. He replies that he knows a lady when he sees one. Algernon says that he doesn’t care….he asks the artist if he can imagine “to be tied to a wall by her—him and then lashed with a birch until the flesh on your back and buttocks is but a fretwork of bleeding welts.” Lizzie’s husband scolds Algernon for saying such things in front of his wife.
