This is one of the serial killers who attended the Cereal Convention from The Doll’s House storyline.

This particular serial killer is sitting in the audience listening to Nimrod’s introductory speech as the convention gets under way. He is sitting in the second row.

Roman Citizen # 99 (illustrated by Xaveria)

Augustus Caesar and the dwarf Lycius spend the day sitting on some steps near the marketplace dressed as beggars. As citizens pass they discuss politics, power and personal legacy.

This citizen is spending the afternoon in the Roman market near the steps where Caesar and Lycius are sitting.

He appears in Sandman # 30, page 13, and is panel 4.

Plague Victim # 3 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

In Brief Lives, Delirium decides that she wants to look for her missing brother, Destruction.

She asks Desire for help, but she refuses. She then asks Despair for help, who also refuses to assist her.

After Delirium leaves her sister’s realm, Despair walks through her world of windows and remembers one of the last times she saw her brother.

Despair visited the London in 1665. She walked the empty streets, seeing corpses lying in front of doorways, the people having died from the plague.

Destruction visited her on these streets. They talk about the plague and about the increasing amount of war. Destruction tells Despair that times are changing, but Despair disagrees.

This woman is one of the plague victims witnessed by Despair.

She appears in Sandman # 41, on page 21, in panel 4.

Press Reporter (illustrated by Anna Hybsier)

In Preludes And Nocturnes, Roderick Burgess, the Head of the Order Of Ancient Mysteries, was at an inquest regarding the death of Jon Hathaway and the loss of many books and manuscripts from the Royal Museum.

His involvement in the crimes and the death of Professor Hathaway could not be proven and he was cleared of all charges.

This press reporter is standing outside the court as Roderick and Alex Burgess, Ethel Cripps (later known as Ethel Dee) and Ruthven Sykes leaves the courthouse. He is writing on the events of the case for The Daily Mail.

He appears in Sandman # 1, on page 14, in panel 2.

Aurelian Emissary # 8 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

When Cluracan was sent to Aurelia by Titania he was forced to sit though a council meeting, listening to the various Aurelian Emissaries discuss the alliance between the cities.

This Emissary is at the council meeting.

He was there to witness Cluracan’s predition that the dead would begin to rise to collect the debts owed to them.

He appears in Sandman # 52, on page 12, in panel 5.

Prez Rickard was elected President of the United States and in the third year of his presidency he attended a party, where he was confronted by Boss Smiley.

This man is one of the guests at the party.

He appears in Sandman # 54 on page 11 in panel 5.

Roman Citizen # 14 (illustrated by Hayden Sengua)

Augustus Caesar and the dwarf Lycius spend the day sitting on some steps near the marketplace dressed as beggars.

As citizens spend the afternoon in the Roman market near the steps where the two men sit, Lycius asks why they are doing this. Caesar tells the dward that they are doing this because he had a dream and says no more.

Lycius tells Augustus that he once dreamed that he met Julius Caesar. Augustus tells him about the first time he met his uncle (and adopted father). He tells him that it is his eyes he remembers most about his first meeting with the man, who he worshiped.

This Roman citizen passes by Lycius and Augustus as they speak. He appears in Sandman # 30, page 8, and is panel 5.

After trading Erasmus Fry a Bezioar for Calliope, Richard Madoc became a successful writer and a notable celebrity.

Richard Madoc won awards and this man was in attendance at one of the award ceremonies where Richard spoke.

This woman appears in Sandman # 17 on page 13 in panel 1.

Dreamer At The Wake # 20 (illustrated by Anna Hybsier)

As people fall asleep, they gather at the wake for Morpheus.

Some people spoke at the wake, recalling their memories of Dream, and the people in attendance listened to each eulogy.

This man is in the crowd of people listening as Morpheus is remembered. He is standing next to Michael Zulli.

He appears in Sandman # 73, on page 15, in panel 2.

Demon # 347 (illustrated by Carl Sciacchitano)

In P. Craig Russell’s adaptation of Dream Hunters, a Fox and a Badger make a wager to see who can make the Monk leave his small temple.

They each try a variety of methods to convince the Monk to leave and nothing seems to sway him.

One evening the Badger created an illusion in which an army of demons surround the temple and shout that if the Monk doesn’t flee they will eat his flesh.

The Monk exits the temple and expresses his unhappiness with these tricks and chases the “demons” away with a torch. Where the demons once stood a badger remained. The Monk threw the torch and singed the tail of the Badger.

This was the last time the Badger attempted to trick the Monk into leaving his temple.

This Demon is one of the Demons that the Badger created in order to scare away the Monk.

He appears in Sandman: Dream Hunters # 1, on page 13, in panel 4.

Dead Man # 20, 30, 50, 161 and Dead Woman # 32 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

After the death of his beloved wife, Orpheus travels to the Underworld, hoping to reclaim his lost love.

As he moves further through the Underworld he begins to encounter the dead.

As he approached the throne room of Hades and Persephone he encountered a large gathering of the dead.

Orpheus sings a song about love and loss to the King and Queen of the Underworld and those who had gathered around the throne.

The song was sung with such passion that it caused the Furies and the dead to weep, which was unexpected and unheard of.

Each of these characters appear in The Sandman Special # 1, The Song Of Orpheus.

John Dee’s mother came to visit him in Arkham Asylum.

A few days later she had died.

One of the guards came to visit John Dee to inform him that his mother had died and that she wanted him to have a necklace. The necklace looks a bit like an eyeball on a chain.

This security guard appears in Sandman # 4, on page 24 in panel 3.

After the death of Kathy, Prez Rickard spent more time in the White House and was seen less by the American people. He became despondent and did not have the same zest for his job as he once did.

One particular night, Prez turned on the television and was watching baseball. Boss Smiley appeared in his television, once again offering Prez anything he wanted, even his deceased wife, if he would only serve him.

This Baseball Fan in the crowd at the stadium during the baseball game. He was on the television prior to Boss Smiley hijacking the program.

He appears in Sandman # 54, on page 14 in panel 8.

Augustus Caesar and the dwarf, Lycius spend the day sitting on some steps near the marketplace dressed as beggars. As citizens pass they discuss politics, power and personal legacy.

This citizen is spending the afternoon in the Roman market near the steps where Caesar and Lycius are sitting. He gives Caesar five ases and tells them that once he was a slave who was freed by his masters. Now he is a wealthy wine seller and has fifty slaves of his own. He continues and says that “No man knows the future” and that tomorrow he could be sitting on the steps begging for money.

He appears in Sandman # 30, page 15, and is panels 1-3.

The Monk’s Mother (illustrated by Lars Brown)

In The Dream Hunters, as the Fox lay dying in the temple, the Monk recounts a story from his youth.

The Monk, as a child, found a monkey in the market, dying. The monk knew that it was still alive and he hid it within this clothes and took it home. He fed the monkey and took care of it, nursing it back to live. The monkey and the Monk became fast friends.

One day a Lord came to the house of the Monk’s family. The monkey became defensive, barring his teeth at the Lord. The Lord ordered his men to kill the monkey with a simple gesture.

Later, the same Lord orchestrated the disgrace of The Monk’s father. The monk believes that perhaps the monkey was a spirit sent by Amida Buddah to protect the family, but they did not listen or see the warnings the monkey offered.

This is the Monk’s mother.

She can be seen in P. Craig Russell’s version of Dream Hunters in issue # 2, on page 24, in panel 3.

Worlds’ End Patron # 70 (illustrated by Xaveria)

Brant Tucker is one of the many people stuck at The Worlds’ End free house as a storm rages outside. He, like the others, listen to some of the other patrons tell stories, but he also wanders around the inn and sees a wide range of people and creatures who are trapped by the storm.

After listening to many stories, Brant explains that everything he has experiences has been a dream. The Innkeeper, Rajoguna, explains that they are not part of dreams and are not part of any realm.

As she explains the nature of the Worlds’ End this patron of the inn is harassing a group of patrons dressed like lobsters.

He appears in Sandman # 56, on page 4, in panel 1. He is leaning against the table looking menacing.

Citizen Of Barbie’s World # 39 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

After Barbie smashes the Porpentine against the Heirogram on the Isle Of Thorns, Dream is summoned to destroy her world. As dictated in the terms of his compact, perhaps with Alianora, he welcomes the citizens of Barbie’s world back into the dark folds of his cloak before un-creating the world.

This character is one of the many citizens of Barbie’s world.

He appears in Sandman # 36, page 34, panel 2.

This man is one of the many people who attended Alain’s masked ball on the night Death visited the palace.

He appears in “Death In Venice” from Endless Nights on page 13, panel 2.
