Wolf (illustrated by Te’Shawn Dywer)

In The Kindly Ones, The Corinthian and Matthew are sent, by Dream, to locate the missing Daniel.

As they draw nearer to the location of the child, The Corinthian is attacked by a large wolf.

I have been unable to determine if this is a common wolf or if it is somehow affiliated with Loki. It seems a bit big to be a common wolf. It’s possible that this wolf is Fenrir (or Fenris).

This wolf appears in Sandman # 64, on page 21.

When Scroyle’s father died, he escorted his body to the Necropolis Litharge. His father had promised Scroyle as an intern in the Necropolis as long as he could be buried within the city.

Scroyle came to the Necropolis on a Death Barge, carrying many corpses of the recently deceased. This corpse is one of those bodies.

You can see this corpse in Sandman # 55, on page 13, panel 1.

Barbie and Martin Tenbones were on their way to the Arch Of The Porpentine when they were attacked by these White Grub Things. Barbie described them as Fat Children.

These White Grub Things appear in Sandman # 35, on page 5, in panel 1.

Roman Citizen # 9 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

Augustus Caesar and the dwarf Lycius spend the day sitting on some steps near the marketplace dressed as beggars.

As citizens spend the afternoon in the Roman market near the steps where the two men sit, Lycius asks why they are doing this. Caesar tells the dward that they are doing this because he had a dream and says no more.

This Roman citizen appears in Sandman # 30, page 7, and is panel 1. He is looking at a piece of cloth that is for sale in the marketplace.

Bar Patron # 27 (illustrated by Kai Martin)

Once every hundred years Dream and Hob would meet in a pub and discuss current events, life and many other topics relating to humanity.

In 1689, Dream waited in the pub for Hob to arrive, listening to the conversations of the people around him.

This woman was in the pub sitting at a table near Dream.

She appears in Sandman # 13, on page 14, in panel 1.
