Cult Member # 2 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

On June 6th, 1916, in England, Roderick Burgess attempted to capture Death, but instead managed to imprison Dream.

In attendance at the ritual were by several members of The Order Of Ancient Mysteries and this was one of the men who was present when Morpheus was captured.

This man is from Sandman # 1, page 5, panel 1. He is standing in the back corner awaiting his orders from Burgess, the Magus of the order.

This is a nice portrait from Lars. While he may bear a slight resemblance to Destiny, he is not because his eyes are not shielded by his cloak (whereas Destiny’s eyes are never visible).
