On these nights he would go out into the city of Baghdad, in the night, to experience the city. He would go to the marketplace, disguised as merchants. He would sample the delicious foods and listen to the fantastic stories told.
On one visit to the marketplace Haroun al Raschid witnessed the death of a hunchback who had choked on a fishbone. There were seven strangers who all admitted to the murder of this man, although none had committed the crime.
This man is one of the strangers.
He appears in Sandman # 50, on page 7 in panel 3.
