Presidential Messenger # 1 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

In Worlds’ End Brant Tucker wanders the halls and encounters a Seeker while trying to find his way back to Charlene.

The Seeker is searching for an alternate version of America where Prez Rickard was the President of The United States before Ronald Reagan.

He recounted the life and legacy of Prez Rickard to Brant from his extraordinary childhood to his adulthood, where he became the youngest President of The United States, to the tragic death of Kathy, the love of his life.

After the Death of Kathy, Prez felt lost and, while he finished out his presidential term his heart was not in it like it had been previously.

Once his term ended he retired to Steadfast where he lived as a child. He spent his time in seclusion repairing clocks. The people of America felt the effects of Prez no longer being President. Things were not necessarily bad, but they were just not as good any more. The Golden Age of America was over.

Three Presidential Messengers came to visit Prez and asked him to come out of retirement and be an advisor. Prez graciously told them no and sent them away.

This man is one of the Presidential Messengers who spoke with Prez Rickard.

He appears in Sandman # 54, on page 17, in panel 3.
