This nurse is present in the room as the doctors performed the delivery. She is standing at the back of the delivery room washing her hands.
He can be seen in Sandman # 28 on page 16, panel 4.
I am not a fan of hospitals, but this nurse seems genuinely friendly as helpful. Anna did a fantastic job with this portrait. She gave this extremely background character a life and a personality that, does not relieve my discomfort of hospitals, certainly makes them feel a bit more welcoming.
