Bevis

Bevis is one of the many faeries who attended the first performance of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Scott has been working on Bevis for quite awhile.

The first two drawings are rejected concepts for Bevis. The third painting is the final version of the character. Scott made Bevis a little more feminine in the final version. If you look at the original comic, illustrated by Charles Vess, you will see a hint of femininity in the lips and eyes, which I had not previously noticed.
