Lord Strange’s Troupe Member # 7 (illustrated by Carl Sciacchitano)

On June 23rd, 1593 William Shakespeare and The Lord Strange’s Men acting troupe went to Wilmington, England near The Long Man of Wilmington to perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the first time.

The audience was a group of Faery visiting our dimension for the final time.

This unnamed actor plays Lystander, who, in the play, is in love with Hermia, but after falling under Puck’s spell, falls in love with Helena who is in love with Demetrius.

This actor appears several times throughout Sandman # 19, but most notably on page 8, in panel 1.
