Dead Man # 20, 30, 50, 161 and Dead Woman # 32 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

After the death of his beloved wife, Orpheus travels to the Underworld, hoping to reclaim his lost love.

As he moves further through the Underworld he begins to encounter the dead.

As he approached the throne room of Hades and Persephone he encountered a large gathering of the dead.

Orpheus sings a song about love and loss to the King and Queen of the Underworld and those who had gathered around the throne.

The song was sung with such passion that it caused the Furies and the dead to weep, which was unexpected and unheard of.

Each of these characters appear in The Sandman Special # 1, The Song Of Orpheus.

Dead Man # 20 appears on page 31, in panel 4.
Dream Man # 30 appears on page 31, in panel 5.
Dead Man # 50 appears on page 33, in panel 2.
Dead Man # 161 appears on page 33, in panel 1.
Dead Woman # 32 appears on page 34, in panel 1.
