Quintus Ligarius (illustrated by Max Rugers)

Quintus Ligarius was a Roman soldier and was a part of the group who conspired to assassinate Julius Caesar in 44 BC.

Ligarious was accused of treason for opposing Caesar and conspiring with King Juba I of Numidia during the civil war in Africa, but was pardoned and allowed to return to Rome.

Although he was pardoned Ligarious hated Caesar and joined the group who planned to assassinate him.

Ligarius appears in Sandman # 30, page 12, panel 5.

Although he is not specifically named, this panel features multiple conspirators and so I felt that this background character may be Ligarius.
