Bar Patron # 49 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

In the 1400’s Dream and Hob meet in the pub for their regular meeting. They discuss printing and Hob does not believe it will catch on.

This man is one of the bar patrons in the pub during this meeting. This man is playing cards which seems to be a common occurrence in pubs throughout the centuries.

This man appears in Sandman # 13, on page 8, in panel 4.

I really like Lars’ interpretation of this character. It’s not a variation from the published comic and Lars even added the playing card as a reference to the comic.
