In September 1964, Samuel Clemens, who is famously known as Mark Twain, is having trouble writing a short story. In his frustration he takes a break and offers to take Emperor Joshua Norton, who was standing on the street, out to lunch.

These citizens of San Francisco is on the street outside the Morning Call building.
