Mobile Phone Man and Mobile Phone Woman (illustrated by Max Rugers)

Sergei spends a bit of time in Venice, while on furlough from his military unit.

While there he wanders the streets listening to the church bells, the “shrill blips and beeps of mobile phones” and voices of the people around him.

This man and woman are both talking on their cell phones as Sergei passes them.

They appears in Endless Nights, in “Death In Venice” on page 4, in panel 3.
