Resident Of The Dreaming # 14 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

After a family gathering, Dream decides that perhaps he was a bit rash in condemning Nada, his one-time lover, to Hell for spurning his affection.

He gathers together the residents of his realm to let them know he is about to go to Hell in an attempt to rescue Nada.

This is one of the people who gathered to listen to Dream.

He appears in Sandman # 22, on page 5, in panel 4.

I absolutely love this portrait from Max. This character is dark and mysterious and incredibly intriguing. I love the spirals in her hair and her wild appearance. The red backgrounds contrast nicely with the darkness of the character. This portrait really stands out and is probably one of my favorite portraits from Max so far.
