There are SO many Demons in Preludes and Nocturnes that it's easy to miss one or two or ten. I've gone over the scenes where Dream is in Hell so many times it makes my brain hurt. When looking at Demons sometimes it was difficult to tell where one demon ended and another demon began, especially when the demons were along the edge of the page and difficult to see.
When it comes to Demon # 155 and # 156, I always assumed they were two different demons. These demons appear on page 111 and are in the fourth panel along the right edge. The Demon # 155 is sort of roundish and has two faces. Demon # 156 is right above him and is a snake type of demon. I always thought these were two separate demons. Scott wasn't so sure. Because neither of these demons are entirely on the page it is very easy to imagine them as a single demon.
As a result Scott took a very unique approach to these Demons...here are Demons # 155 and # 156 or....here is Demon # 155/156.
