Man At The Renaissance Festival # 10 (illustrated by Nicole Ingram)

When Hob and Gwen arrive at the Renaissance Fair he complains about the romanticized version of the era, in which he first made his deal with Death and Dream for immortality.

Gwen goes to the opening parade and Hob tells her that he will just wander around for a bit.

He visits the tent of Hinnegan The Bookbinder, who has a book that was bound by Gadling And Company in the 1700’s. Robt Gadling was the owner of the company and Hinnegan asks if they were related. Hob replies that they could be, but in actuality they are the same person.

Seeing the book and the inscription to Laurel shook Hob up and after leaving the tent he sees a man and asks him where he can get a pint of beer.

This man directs him to the beer booth.

He appears in Sandman # 73, on page 9, in panel 7.
