Dignitary # 261 (illustrated by Ron Chan)

After Dream discovers Kilalla kissing Sto-Oa he decides that it is time for him to leave the parliament.

He finds Mizar and informs her that he is leaving and that Kilalla can find her way home with Sto-Oa.

Before leaving Dream approaches Sol, remarking that he heard the little star saying that one day he would like his planets inhabited. Sol mentions that the planets are still sleeping and Dream responds saying “Their dreams are very lonely, and beautiful.”

This dignitary is in the background, speaking with another dignitary, while Dream is speaking with Sol.

He appears in “The Heart Of The Star” from Endless Nights, on page 19, in panels 4-5.

Movie Premier Guest # 24 (illustrated by Anna Hybsier)

Foxglove attends the A Day In The Park movie premier. She has a song on the soundtrack and is a guest at the premiere.

This woman is one of the guests at the movie premiere.

She appears in Death: The Time Of Your Life # 2, on page 2 in panel 2.

Boy At The Guy Fawkes Bonfire # 3 (illustrated by John Rapone)

On November 5th, when William Shakespeare and Ben Johnson walk from from a visit to the pub they encounter a group of boys building a bonfire to burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes.

This boy is lifting the effigy onto the pile of wood, preparing for the bonfire.

He is from Sandman # 75, page 14, panel 5.

Demon # 7 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

This demon appears in Dream Hunters (the Amano version) and is one of the visions that the Badger created in hopes of scaring the monk away from his temple and win the bet with the Fox.

This demon is visible in Dream Hunters on page 13.

Goldfinch (illustrated by Nicole Ingram)

As Master Li travels across the desert as part of his exile, he recalls how things used to be when he was a child.

He remembers that “birds of a thousand colors danced in the sky.”

In the afternoon, the goldfinch would sing “We are who we choose to be.”

The goldfinch appear in Sandman # 74 on page 1 in panel 2.

Dead Man # 28 (illustrated by Kai Martin)

This Dead Man is one of the many that resides in the Underworld. He is in a group of dead as Orpheus stands before Lord Hades and Queen Persephone implores them to return Eurydice to him.

He appears in The Sandman Special # 1, on page 31, in panel 5.

Dreamer At The Wake # 22 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

A wake was held for the King Of Dreams and everyone was in attendance.

As this man slept he found himself gathered with other people and creatures paying tribute to the deceased Morpheus.

He appears in Sandman # 72 on page 15, in panel 2.

Faery # 58 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

This Faery is one of the faeries who attended the first performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on June 23rd 1593 in Wilmington, England near The Long Man of Wilmington (also called Wendel’s Mound by Morpheus). \

This Faery appears in Sandman # 19, on page 7, panel 2.

Man # 9 (illustrated by Carl Sciacchitano)

After seeing Foxglove play at The Undercut, Didi and Sexton follow Theo who promises to take them to a “lot cooler” party.

As Theo walks ahead, Didi and Sexton talk about Disney movies and about happy endings.

This man is walking behind then as they walk through the crowded New York streets.

He appears in Death: The High Cost Of Living # 2, on page 19, in panel 2 and 3.

Dreamer # 28 (illustrated by Xaveria)

In Preludes And Nocturnes, Dream battles John Dee in order to prevent the destruction of the dream world and to regain his stolen ruby. While battling, the effects are felt by all those who are sleeping, including this Dreamer. His sleep is filled with the darkest nightmares.

This Dreamer appears in Sandman # 7, on page 14, in panel 4.

Dead Man # 143 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

After the death of his beloved wife, Orpheus travels to the Underworld, hoping to reclaim his lost love.

As he moves further through the Underworld he begins to encounter the dead.

This Dead Man is one of the many that resides in the Underworld and encounters Orpheus when he stands before Lord Hades and Queen Persephone and implores them to return Eurydice to him.

He appears in The Sandman Special # 1, on page 31, in panel 2.

Folk From Across The River # 5 (illustrated by Max Rugers)

In the Desire story in Endless Nights, Kara was in love with the son of the chief of the village.

The Chief and a group of village elders tried to negotiate grazing rights, for amber and for the ransom of prisoners between their tribe and the folk from across the river, but negotiations went badly and ended with the death of the village chief.

Kara retrieves the song of the village chief and he assumes the role of leader of the village. He also marries Kara and spends the winter in the village.

In spring, Kara’s husband and a group of soldiers go to meet with the chiefs of the other villages.

One day, a group of men arrived at the village, asking for hospitality. These were the folk from across the river and they had killed Kara’s husband and brought his head to threaten and scare the women of the village.

Kara remained calm and served the men food and wine until the soldiers who were on wolf-watch returned and slaughtered the invaders.

This man is one of the folk from across the river.

He appears in the “What I’ve Tasted Of Desire: from Endless Nights, on page 16, in panel 6.

Citizen Of Baghdad # 27 (illustrated by Kai Martin)

In Baghdad, in the time of Haroun al Raschid, there were many wonders and splendors.

One such wonder was the market place and when al Raschid was restless he would go out at night, into the city of Baghdad, with this advisor, Jafar, and his executioner, Masrur, to explore the city.

They would disguise themselves as merchants and travel to the marketplace and would sample some of the foods and listen to stories told.

This man is one of the people in the marketplace.

This man can be seen in Sandman # 50, on page 7, in panel 1.

Book Release Party Guest # 6 (illustrated by Lars Brown)

When Richard Madoc’s book “And My Love She Gave Me Light” was released in May 1987 a book release party was held.

This woman was one of the people who attended the party. She is standing in the background near a group of people. She’s wearing a Pinhead jacket, which is a character created by Clive Barker, so she is clearly a fan of horror books.

This woman appears in Sandman # 17 on page 12, in panel 1.
